True Vision is
Seeing The Invisible

IMAGTEK creates Linux applications for image science, providing inexpensive access to accurate, compact, high performance image analysis software. The ‘Rapid EXploitation Discovery Engine’ [REX] (c) will reveal structures in your data that you never imagined were there.

Guaranteed!

REX will provide Scientists with a unique window into invisible ‘Occult Information’ structures of complex image datasets. Artists will find in REX a magic carpet into a unique and unexplored world of graphics possibilities.

LINUX is now supported on Microsoft Windows-11 via the native Windows Subsystem for Linux [WSL] free extension. REX is fully functional on WSL v2.

The Rapid EXploitation Discovery Engine [REX] (c)

REX defines a unique interactive environment possessing the visual immersion, ease of use, and rapid response of a video game applied to image analysis. REX accomplishes this while providing the deep functionality and precision of a powerful scientific instrument. REX avoids information silos and siloed solutions because they constrain analysis to a conceptual silo. Instead, REX provides a rapid response environment of unparalleled conceptual flexibility. The REX Image Calculator supports its own compact but complete graphics language that erases all boundaries to graphics analysis and discovery.

REX directly supports the exploitation of images in popular web formats, as well as High Dynamic Range [HDR] scientific formats. REX can routinely navigate and exploit full-color HDR imagery up to Gigapixels in size whose scale is that of an entire wall relative to a computer display. REX also maintains an EXACT mapping of the imagery on the display to the original dataset across all image transformations. Positional accuracy is maintained at the individual pixel level at all times, permitting accurate navigation within projected datasets. REX fully utilizes the advanced capabilities of LINUX to achieve your Computer’s full potential.

REX serves dual purpose an Artistic medium. Run a gigaPixel image through one of REX’ unique transforms, and finding amazing graphic ‘discoveries’  in its occult information structures is like picking up seashells on a beach. You can then capture them in GIF or PGM image formats to unlimited size for web distribution or rendering to media.

Documentation

The following documentation is available for you to browse in a text format. Feel free to examine these documents for a quick overview of REX capabilities.

REX User's Guide

The REX Discovery Engine (c) is NOT an Artificial Intelligence [AI] system. REX uses unique, proprietary algorithms based upon Information Theory to visualize deep statistical structures [Occult Information] in imagery that would otherwise remain Invisible. The ‘REX User’s Guide’ provides an exhaustive description of REX capabilities. Click image to view documentation.

REX Installation

Installation of the REX Discovery Engine (c) is simple, quick and secure. There is a two week free-use period, with no obligation. REX is dirt cheap and Imagtek LLC keeps no user records. REX is a compact application that occupies very little space on your system and is simple to delete. Click image to view documentation.

CDLT FAQ

‘Collaborative Development Licensing Technology’ [CDLT] (c) is a unique fusion of Closed-Source and Free-Open-Source-Software [FOSS] development models. It supports distributed access-control that provides both original, and derivative-work FOSS App developers a path to a livelihood in a single license. CDLT enables Developers to share and modify App source code as unrestricted FOSS, and field controlled-access derivative works so all developers benefit. Click image to view documentation.

CDLT License

Intellectual Slavery is not Freedom.

The CDLT (c) Software License defends Intellectual Private Property (IP) of all contributors to a Free Open-Source Software [FOSS] application, while facilitating Collaborative Development of derivative works.  CDLT defends LINUX Developers from the viral GNU GPL Communist klepto-license that cripples LINUX by seeking to Collectivize all IP. CDLT provides both original, and derivative-work FOSS Developers a secure path to a livelihood developing LINUX Apps. Click image to view license.

REX

REX (c) is designed from the ground up as stable platform for creation of derivative works, using straightforward ‘C/C++’ coding and a minimalist API. You may freely distribute your derivative work as FOSS; or market it, royalty free, using a built-in extension to the original REX license.

The REX (c) target audience includes professional Scientists, students, digital artists and the intellectually curious. REX is so robust, visually exciting and easy/fun to use, that it makes an educational and amusing toy for children 7+. The REX design is inspired by Albert Einstein’s observation that scientific research is a form of play. REX is not merely a powerful scientific research tool; it is unashamedly, a high precision intellectual toy and an artistic medium.
